Find the local free website to access the local MLS (Multiple Listing Service) info to check on property/house prices in your area. Realtor.com is a commonly used site too - I would put zero faith in zillow.com if I were you, it is all over the place on prices.
A quick scan of local builder information indicates a run of the mill new-build subdivision house in that area is going for a minimum of about $115/SF for existing stock, and $125-130/SF for new-builds - so appears to be the start of increases in home prices, or maybe more people building higher-end homes. Of course, prices can go on up from there to $200/SF or more depending on locale and design and materials quality.
