Generally - and varies a lot depending on how common they are in your area - can increase the cost, on a normal size basement (say around 1000SF floor area), about $2000-4000 over block wall or cast-in place (which tend to roughly the same cost - one might be cheaper by a bit than the other depending on relative costs of concrete).

Bear in mind also, with most types the foam has joints which can let water through because the concrete is not continuous through the joints, and exterior waterproofing is not going to stop that as well as on a continuous pour wall.

You also lose some interior space due to the foam - though generally not more than if you were to put equivalent insulation inside a poured foundation.

One other consideration - termites - they LOVE building their nests in foam and tunneling in it to get to the wood - saves them the trouble of building clay tubes to travel through on the face of the foundation. One of the major reasons I do not like the system.
