What should it cost to have a faucet installed?

I imagine you were looking for a less sarcastic answer than the first one - typically, assuming you have shutoff valves under your sink and they work right, the minimum trip charge will cover it IF the new faucet fits the sink holes - different sinks have different size holes, and some like kitchen faucets with a spray attachment require 2 or 3 holes at certain spacings.

Minimum charge usually $75-250, generally around $125 except in big cities, plus of course the cost of the faucet itself. IF the shutoff valves do not work right, then you could have him shut off the entire household instead during the repair and not fix them, or installing new shutoff valves too would likely add about $25-75 to the total cost.
