Commonly about $3-5/SF for the labor, a dime or few per SF for the pad and any needed vapor barrier, then the cost of the laminate itself - commonly $1-3/SF for box store materials, $3-7/SF for higher-end products, more for exotic real wood laminates.

So bottom line (not including typically $0.40-1.50/SF to remove existing laminate or hardwood or carpet if needed) typically runs $5-10/SF for cheapo and quick and dirty installation to nicer materials, then on up for high-end laminates. So VERY rough ballpark, $1000 for that room plus or minus about $200-500 depending on details.
