Question DetailsAsked on 2/6/2015

What should it cost to replace old air ducts?

I have a thirteen year old house and the ducts are old and have holes in them. I've been quoted a price of $3,500 to replace all the air ducts with three ply ducts, clean all the registers, clean the furnace and the dryer vent. Does that sound like too much?

Depending on the size of the home, too much or for a larger home it could be a deal.

Wondering why the ducts need to be replaced, plus will there be no leaks in the new duct system? Most brand new homes have 10% duct leakage, here in Florida.

We have been sealing air ducts for the past 12 years with Aeroseal, this is a patented process that really works. It's like Fix-A-Flat for tires, but it's for air duct systems!!

Take a few minutes to look at it, www.aeroseal.com ,you won't regret it!

After doing Aeroseal nfor 10 years, I finally had my own home sealed, each system was leaking over 12% and sealing reduced my electric bill by about 10% !!
