Read the manufacturerrs warranty, online for your brand, many state that online purechased voids/eliminates the warranty, be careful.

Most contracvtors will charge their full price for the install, less their cost for the equipment you have bought, their cost may be less then your cost. Others may be less ,but No warranty at all.

Some feel it's like taking your own steak to the restaurant and asking how much to just cook it.

Many unlicensed guys will do it for a low cost, your home owners may not cover any work by unlicensed people ,if they should cause an issue. If they get injured there's no workmans comp. insurance, and it may fall on you.

Point is be aware and be careful what risks you take.
