What is the best product to cover a concrete basement floor for a classy living look without worry of water?

I have a basement and have replaced the carpet three times now. I'm looking for a good looking concrete floor covering that will be nice to look at and comfortable to spend time in without feeling like it's just painted concrete. I've seen a bunch of products on the web, but it's hard to get a feel for which of them would make the best sense for a residential basement. Any feedback is much appreciated.

we have three systems that will work if your interested in having someone install the product our company will be glad to help and our company has installed many decorative floor from acid staining to stamped overlays that can be heated as well so no more cold concrete its up to you on how much you would like to put into the project and the products are 100% water resistant and what you could do to accent is throw rugs to brake up the size of the area

My online interior design firm recommends "carpet tile" and our favoritre manufacturer is Flor. Click Here for their website.

Originally a commercial product for offices and hotels, carpet tile has been updated for gorgeous and convenient residential applications.

If it gets wet in a flood or dirty from dogs or kids you can pick up the affected sections and clean or dry them out, and then put them right back down again.

Ultra durable! There are solids, patterns, wool, berber - so many beautiful options to choose from!

They are a very affordable option when purchased from an online interior designer because you can use their designer discounts and pay no sales tax in most states.

Good Luck!
