What can cause random urine smell in one room of apartment?

I live on the top floor (3rd floor) of an apartment building. I have been here for ten years, I have no pets, I am very clean.
Today I began smelling a urine smell in my bedroom. The bathroom is the only adjacent room, but the toilet and tub plumbing are on the other side of the bathroom, away from my room.
I thought I peed the bed this morning because it smelled pretty bad. I didn't lol I got home from work and it still stunk. Only this one room. I've never smelt this before in my room.
There's a flat roof above me so I don't know if there's animals up there?
I read somewhere that a urine/ammonia smell could be faulty wiring, so I am extremely concerned. It is a 60 year old building that is not kept up at all.
