I need a simple staircase built in my garage that has an upstairs loft. Which service category would this fall under?

Hi Stairs,

The List doesn't have a specific category for "staircases," but to get more information you could try one of two things. 1) You can search the category "Handymen". 2) You can try a keyword search for "staircases" or some variation of that. I think you will find companies on the List that provide this service.

Your best bet is to call a handful of companies you find, explain exactly what you are looking for and ask if they perform such work. It sounds as though this job could be done by a company in our handymen category, carpentry or even remodeling-general. Make sure to "do your homework" both on the product and on the companies you are considering hiring. You might also consult resources such as the BBB or your Attorney General to gather additional information on the company you're considering. Arm yourself with as much information as possible to make an educated decision.

I hope that helps. Good luck!
