Question DetailsAsked on 9/14/2015

What type of contractor do I need to vent my bathroom exhaust fan to the outside instead of in to the attic?

The previous owner cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling and installed an exhaust fan that blows in to the rafters instead of venting outside. What kind of contractor can fix this? An electrician? HVAC? A handyman? I'm not sure who I would contact for this type of work. It looks like there is a exit point in my roof outside near where the upstairs bathroom is, so no roof work/cutting would be required.
