With today's more enrgy efficent house envelopes with less air infiltration, please make sure you spend the extra money for a sealed combustion furnace. Most sealed units have an AFUE rating of 93-95% and eliminate safety issues like backdrafting and potential CO. No chimney. As far as brands, just make sure the contractor stocks the necessary controller parts in his truck...
