If you are a senior citizen in the State of Pennsylvania then you have it almost the best! The Philadelphia Corporation for Seniors, is a top notch Federally funded and lottery funded agency that help all PA senior citizens who are in need of any assistance of any kind. Literally! All you do is have to do is pick up phone fill out some simple paper work and wham bam you have the help you need for free in 99% of the cases. Now if that dose Not apply to you then, the first choice I would offer as advice would be to contact the churches in your area. Go through the pastors office. You are helping out many simply by going through this way. Your are showing the church your support whether you are a member or not they DO NOT care. If you are honestly looking to extent an employment opportunity to any of the members. This makes the pastor/priest/clergy person look good for looking out for his flock and offering someone an honest days work. My best bet, if that surprisng does not yeld you umerous options...then as last resort beg borrow and neighbors house keeper to help or if nothing else they may know someone looking.I hope this will be of some comfort and help to you we all need a little help from time to time Best of Luck to you.Suzette Trimmer, Philadelphia, Pa.

Another option, if you are a senior citizen, is to call your county's Office of Aging; they may be able to connect you with a paid or volunteer organization to assist you.

If you are not a senior citizen, you could advertise on for these services, or check who is offering them. You may need to become a member to hire someone, I'm not sure.

Other options, which you may have already checked into, would be high school or college students or retirees who want to earn a little extra money.

Good luck!
