I have found a website that allows you to buy the prescription before you pick it up at the pharmacy. Best prices that I have ever seen.

Possibly, or at least close to cheapest, Walmart.

One issue - if you hve insurance, commonly the pharmacy has a contract with the insurance provider that means you have to use the version of the drug the insurer contracts for - which can mean you pay more out of pocket than with another version or generic, and cannot use any drug discount card you may have which might have reduced your cost. In some cases, your deductible alone can be more than the normal over-the-counter cost of the same drug if the pharmacy did not know you had insurance. Some people use cash-payment transactions at a different pharmacy which does not know they have insurance to avoid this.

One other note - depending on your income and age, it is possible Medicare/Medicaid will pay for the diabetes medications - talk to your doctor and Social Security Administration about that possibility.
