Who can I call locally to come to my house and cut wood logs

Tree Service would be a normal Search the List category for this - some Firewood dealers might also do it in their spare time if they don't need to be spending all their time cutting and delivering firewood to customers. And some Handymen would do it too.

My recommendation - be sure to use a contractor with insurance and Worker's Compensation insurance for any employees, because without those if someone gets hurt the liability can kick back on you totally.

Depending on how home handy you are, you can rent chain saws at tool rental places for probably about $40/day. Small electric ones (good for branches/logs up to maybe 10-12 inch diameter) run about $40-60, gas ones including gas can cost about $90-150 for the size most homeowners use - about 18". Personally, for a cheap box store homeowner size chainsaw I have had excellent luck with Featherlite - the same performance and reliability as a Stihl or Husquevarna at less than half the price. Just don't count on it lasting for decades (though mine has about 10 years on it without problems, just at the point of needing a new chain and bar from sheer wear from use.)
