Question DetailsAsked on 1/12/2016

Who removes an underground swimming pool, and the concrete apron, and fills the resulting hole correctly?

My pool is 34-years old, out of and beyond repair. It's concrete/gunnite lining, peanut-shaped pool, 9-ft. deep at one end and 3-ft. deep at the other. I do not want to replace it with a new pool. Instead want to create a stable lawn and let the next owner decide what to do. The area involved, with the concrete apron is about 1,200 to 1,500 sq. ft.

Hi,

This is James in Member Care. I'm happy to help!

It sounds like some highly rated providers from our "Excavating" category would be able to help you with this. However, normally we are able to enter your email address into the system to see if you are a member or not yet a member. In a particularly odd circumstance, the email address you submitted this question from did not return any type of information at all. Are you already a member of Angie's List? If so, you won't want to reply with your registered email address here, as Answers is a public forum. Simply shoot us an email at memberservices@angieslist.com or give us a call at 888.944.5478.

Our call center is available 8:00 am-9:00 pm weekdays and 8:00-5:00 pm ET on Saturdays.

If you're not yet a member of the List, you can save 20% on an annual plan by joining online and using the promo code ANSWERS.

Thanks for your question and we look forward to assisting you!
