Question DetailsAsked on 2/26/2015

Why do I get Internet hits on a business showing an Angie's List link, but when I search here, they are not listed?

Landon Construction in Spring, Texas - did search, one hit showed a link to Angie's List with the correct name, address, and contact person. When I signed in on Angie's List and did a search, it told me the name was not found.

I presume this is the hit you saw -

While signed into AL (so through its cookies it knows you are a member), just open the link in a new window to go to the company profile page. AL search engine basically likes single words only and gets easily confused when putting in an entire company name, so thatmay have been your problem.

The company also may not show up in Searches by category for several other reasons - does not service your area or is outside whatever search radius you have set, or has too low an average rating or is in the doghouse because of terms of service violations or failure to reply to a complaint, etc.
