Question DetailsAsked on 3/19/2020

Why do I notice an awful smell in my room at night?

So this is probably night 4 or 5, maybe more, but in my house, specifically in my upstairs bedroom I notice a bad smell. The smell I can only compare to a burp or to vomit. I only notice it when I sit in my bed at nighttime when the heat kicks on and I only notice it in that one room. My bedroom is not really a closed off room but when you walk upstairs you are immediately in the bedroom, it is open, no door leading to the stairs (and has no vents). On the other side of this open room is another bedroom that has a door leading into the open room (this closed off room has one vent in the wall). I need help before something potentially bad happens and google is not helping me. I cant tell if its mold, a dead animal, a gas leak, anything!
