Question DetailsAsked on 7/27/2014

Why would there be a disposal leak from bottom after installation of a new dishwasher?

Disposal has always run perfectly and never leaked. I installed a new dishwasher, and now I am getting about a half of cup of water leaking from the bottom of the disposal after running the dishwasher.

Dishwashers often drain through the garbage disposal , so it could be where the DW drain hose attaches to the garbage disposal.

In any case , I'd check where the DW drain lin line attaches to the plumbing drain.
