Why don't you list the town after the the contracter's listing like it was done originally ? It saves lots of time checking in your area.

I am a long time member and used Angies contracters in the past. When you first posted your lists it was easy to canvass the contracters close to home as the addresses were posted along with the busineses.I personally would not be comfortable with a contracter that was more than 15 miles away.When you scan the list for say landscapers or painters only the business is posted thus you have to bring each business up to check their business address and then.go back to the list to find another. Try doing that with 15 - 20 contracters and see how time cosuming it is Most contracters are hesitant to travel to far to do a small to medium job...
