Why does my shower whistle?

Without any information on what type of shower valve you have, it may be that your shower head needs to be cleaned. It may also be something in the valve or in the shower arm. Try removing the shower head and cleaning. While it is off, turn on the cold and hot to blow out all through the shower arm and replace the head. If it does not work, you may need to get a plumber to replace the stems or cartridges in the valve.
