I don't know precisely if acupuncture can work for lymphedema; however, I can say from experience with several issues it has worked for me.
If you are near Morristown(Morris County), NJ, I recommend
Dr Ann(aka Nancy) Cottter, who is excellent in every way.

(You can also do an internet search with the search terms "acupuncture" and "lymphedema." You may find message boards with people who have a close experience to your own.)

Don't be afraid of the acupuncture "needles," which are really filaments and very tolerable.
At any rate, try 2-3 sessions with a reputable person before you judge whether it's working for you. It's worth a try.
Allow yourself to breathe calmly and relax for your session.
Best of luck to you. Feel better.
