According to a statement by their manager, they are NOT a non-profit organization - is a for-profit enterprise privately run Miami zoo. Reviews vary - basically it is a direct-contact zoo from what I can see, selling pricey ($100+ per comments) walk-through tours with photo ops holding baby animals (at extra cost). Web info from company is extremely light on the "research" and "conservation" side - from what I can find it seems to just be a small private zoo.
