age of galaxy slant fin boiler

I have a GG-150 Galaxy Slant Fin boiler, serial 660687. I have been googling, but have been unable to determine the age of it, or find links to any manual, maintenance recommendations etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok - afraid, despite my slight advantage maybe in knowing that Slant/Fin is the manufacturer name, afraid I still have to give your googling skills a fail. Googling this search phrase -

GG-150 Galaxy Slant Fin boiler manual

brought up the following six sources for the manual (including from the company) on the first page of results. Did not dig into the date of manufacture in detail - burrow into their website or eMail them with model and serial number for that - or look carefully on the unit nameplate itself - date of manufacture is supposed to be on there, though sometimes embedded in the manufacturer's encoding. However - should have a G in front of the serial number - maybe printed on the lable rather than stamped like the rest of the number. By their earlier numbering system, 660687 would be made in 1966, month 06 (so mid-Febraury), and sequential number 87 of that 150,000 Btu (input) model - but confirm that with the manufacturer, particularly since you did not indicate the G in front. Could be older units were just plain sequentially numbered, though I would not expect that high a sequential serial number of a very old unit - but they have been around since before the 1960's I know for certain - a lot of them were around in the early 60's.
