approximately how much would it cost to run a gas line for a fireplace that is in a room on a cement slab

I am converting my wood fireplace to Gas and need to run a gas line most likely underground.

Here are some prior similar questions with answers which should fill the bill for you -

I would ask why underground - - this sort of line is usually run either overhead in floor joists (especially if you have exposed basement joists so no drywall repair needed), or around the outside of the house (though in that case pipe should be painted with rust-preventative paint).
