Question DetailsAsked on 9/13/2014

auto leasing

Didn't see any clear help on this subject.
In the past we've alway either purchase new or found used cars. Now a days, money is tight and it seems that not spending lots of money on a car to constantly fix or keep it too long until it develops a problem make us feel that leasing might be the answer. In the past I've always been given the advice that it is not straight forward to lease a car because there are always hidden costs. In other words when you see an ad for $149 a month, it is actually $278 when you get charged all the little things that are required. Is this still true? Can there be honest deals? Where?
