Question DetailsAsked on 9/26/2014

average cost to have cracks in a concrete driveway filled and driveway resealed

Driveway is 11 years old. Cracks aren't too wide; but want to stop further deterioration. It has been professionally power cleaned annually over the past several years. Previously we cleaned it with our own, less powerful cleaner.

Click on the Home > Driveway link right under your question for prior questions with responses on typical sealing cost, types of sealers, and differences in lifespan of the different types. Be sure to stick with the CONCRETE questions, not asphalt. The crack filling cost depends too much on how many, length, how wide open, depth, etc to give a typical cost - though off the top of my head I would say a couple hundred dollars would probably handle the normal drive in decent condition - basically just putting flexible sealant into the construction and expansion joints to keep grit and water out.

Of course, the cheaper types (not 2-component sprayed types) you can also easily apply yourself, and you can also do the crack sealing yourself if you wish with commercial crack sealers - though that can get old if you have a lot to fill, especially if deep.
