After haggeling quite a bit with a subcontractor and calling around to pool companies we went from an original quote of $1000 down to $700 for our in-ground concrete pool (400 sq.ft.) BUT, we bought our own pool paint ($144 for 3 buckets) from the hardware store AND we already had it drained and pressure washed beforehand by our regular pool guy for $160. So, that's a total of $1004.
