cost to replace inducer assembly on a gas furnace. I got ripped off--$675. took about 15 minutes

There are several different inducers per brand. Some are very pricey depending on the model, as many manufacturers use a proprietary part and can charge whatever they want to the dealers. Is it a 90% furnace or an 80 %? Is it a multi stage, single or a variable? Did the technician have it on his truck or have to order it, pick it up and return to replace it? Did they quote you the repair price before they did the work? If so, and you agreed tot he price and now have heat and a warranty on the part, I wouldn't necessarily say you got ripped off because the technician had the right tools and knew what he was doing.
