Here is a prior response that should help -

I was helping a neighbor move backyard play sets and gazebo so he could have big cottonwoods taken out, and asked about what they were charging - these were 4-5 foot diameter probably 70- foot tall ones. He said $700 per tree (taken down from top down because no felling room), and $100 each to remove the stumps and roots to 3 inches below ground surface - was having 4 or 5 trees taken out, so bulk rate. Bear in mind these are soft wood versus your oak being very hard, but the cottomwoods probably required about a 6-8 foot diameter stump removal including the massive roots above ground near the base, and your oak is probably nowhere that big - so should give a ballpark idea. Took about 1/2 hour per tree from drive up to drive off time. Of course, if truck towing the stump grinder can't get close to the tree may cost a bit more, and if rough terrain that requires a self-propelled track-mounted one then probably double or more.
