I would go with a Remodeling, General Contractor - just too much here and too many skills needed for your ordinary handyman - through there are certainly ones out there who could do it fine. The trick is that if you do not have one you already use and are confident he can do plumbing, carpentry, cabinets wrok, countertops, maybe some flooring and trim and painting, etc - you just don't know how good one yuou might find here is at doing all those tasks, and many handyman tend to bite off more than their capabilities support - so you might end up with a substandard finished product and/or ruined cabinets and countertop - especially likely at the matchup between cabinets and diagonal/joining cuts on the countertop/backsplash.

Also, the contractor, using subs, is less likely to leave the job unfinished than an individual handyman.
