Depends of course on the type of wood you use, accessibility, how hard the ground is to dig postholes in, slopes, how much vegetation needs removing (especially if good to full size trees neecd to be removed), and whether the alignment has already been surveyed, etc.

Around $15/LF is a common guesstimate number for 5-6 foot cedar slat (horizontal), board (upright) or shadowbox (boards alternate on opposite sides of the fence) fencing.
