Do you need a new meterbase? Do you want an amperage upgrade (100-200 amps )? Anywhere from $400 to $1600 for service upgrade.

The "can" lights can be $220 each plus labor for LED's or $70 plus labor each for standard lights (I recommend LED). Standard lights w/LED bulbs about $80 each. Then there is the cost for new switches...??

Negotiate for labor plus materials - it's your best bet.
