Depends of course on how the awning is built. Assuming you mean a side or front bar, not a roller unit, then this should not be more than an hour job - to either remove and replace, or to cut and splice. Straightening it won't do it - will just buckle again same place first time it get a load on it, because it has been deformed and weakened.

I would guess about $50-100 labor charge by a Tent and Awning contractor, plus from $20 to $150 materials depending on whether repaired or replaced.

Depending on what bent it, you might consider putting an intermediate post under the center - one you can remove at will, but put up maybe when the patio or porch area is not in use, to provide extra support. Like a crutch.
