Depends a bit on the construction type of course, and whether you are including any below-ground foundations or concrete slab in the demo - but without those, for just above-ground attached carport (actually sounds like an open garage if it is stuccoed) and assuming wood deck on top - I would guess around $2000 assuming normal dump fees - in some areas dump fees are incredibly high so can crank the cost up by 100% or more just for that.

Angies List does not have a demolition category in Search the List, so you will have to google or yellow pages for that, then cross-check company names on Angies List to see if they have been rated and reviewed under another category like General Contractor or Builder - Garage and Shed or such.

And don't forget to include them getting the demo permit in the scope of work if you don't have it already.
