how much should it cost to have gutters cleaned for a 2000 sq. foot house?

This is dependent on a lot of things - is the contractor insured or not, using a leaf blower (and not picking up the debris that is blown out) or hosing/pressure washing it out, local labor costs, any above second story level or dangerous to get at, etc. In our area there are seasonal specials for about $50, more generally around $75-100 for about 100-150 LF of gutter.


And be sure the scope includes debris pickup if you want that, and washing/blowing out the downspouts to be sure they are clear too - because it is VERY common for someone to "clean the gutters" but end up washing/blowing a lot of the debris into the downspouts, and not blowing/washing them clear - so your downspouts back up. Also be sure, if downspouts go into underground drain pipes, that they disconnect that connection when cleaning so the debris do not end up in the drain pipe and clog it up. Scope should alos include washing out the drain pipe too to make sure it is clear, if you have one.
