how much should it cost for installation of aluminum porch railing

I just finished building a concrete porch and was quoted what seems like a very high price for an aluminum railing installed. I need 68 feet of railing and I was quoted appx $85 a foot installed...does that seem like the right price?

Sounds pretty high to me, assuming this is a fairly straight forward jhob and stock material - not a specialty or fancy railing. That sort of price is a lot more common with custom wrought iron railings. Aluminum, using stock pieces, commonly runs about $10-20/LF for the materials, and about same for the labor to install it.

I would get a few more quotes.
