how much should it cost for a plumber to install a shower diverter

We purchased a new shower diverter and all the plumber has to do is instahe has to do is install it. The walls are all down. Easy access.

Here is a previous response to that question - in your case with the walls down, assuming thew in-wall pipes are in good condition, you are talking minimum trip charge (commonly $75-150, rarely up to $300 in a very few very high cost ritzy areas) plus maybe up to $10 materials -
