how much would it cost to put a new garbage disposal

I have already bought the new garbage disposal so it will be just for the installation.

Typically about $125-175 for swap out with no plumbing changes needed, to as much as $250 if different configuration so plumbing modifications under sink are needed, including minor parts but not disposal cost.

If you call an appliance repair company, you'll probably pay less for a garbage disposal change out than if you call a plumber. Since you already have the disposer, and if no plumbing changes are needed, you should only pay for labor. If you lived in our area, you would only have to pay $75.00 for that job. If we supplied a 1/2HP disposer, the total cost including tax & labor would be $185.00 if no plumbing changes are needed. I'm guessing LCD lives in Beverly Hills, CA for the price to be that high for labor! LOL! Just kidding LCD. I know there are plumbers out there that charge that much. If I charged those prices, I could move to Beverly Hills!!
