If you can find a fixit shop, probably about $30-50. Some lighting stores may have light-duty repair capability too.

Or you can take it into a lighting parts store and they can fix you up with the parts and you can do it yourself for about $15-25 in parts - cord, plug, switch and socket.

My bad - my response on DIY'ing it should have said IF you are somewhat electrical savvy - not a raw novice thing to do, especially since Underwriter's Labs foolishly allowed 2-wire wiring, because now if you wire something backwards (live wire to frame or neutral connection) you get zapped instead of just tripping the breaker.
