Labor only cost depends of course on how being done - you can commonly get masking and spraying or rolling as low as about $0.30/SF on up to $1.00+/SF range depending on if textured surface, whether there is any furniture to be covered and moved, if there is flooring to be protected, etc. The low range, which I have seen as low as about $0.20/SF for a new or totally renovated home being done before any trim or doors or flooring or lights are in, is spraying mass production painting - the $1.00+ range would apply to finished home with hard to protect floors, window and door trim and crown molding and baseboards to mask, ceiling and walls different paint or two-tone walls, etc.
So, you can see, there are a lot of variables going into the price. And of course, quality of the work counts too - you are not going to get expert product finish with normal spraying or blow-and-go rolling, so for a quality job you are normally looking at $1.00/SF or more. BTW - those costs are per coat, so double in your case, and note the SF measured is the actual painted area, not the "real estate" 1200 square feet of footprint.
