Question DetailsAsked on 3/18/2015

how much should it cost to tear out a tiled bathroom and walk in closet and install new time with DITRA XL backing

The grout between tiles in my master bathroom and walk in closet is cracking and falling apart. The floor trusses are 16" apart. This lets the tiles move just a little. They have been suported already but need to take up the tile and install new tile with Ditra XL backing and reset toilet/ Install shoe molding around cabinets and use Spectralock epoxy based grout. All old tile and backer board should be disposed of. How much should it cost and do you have recommendations for someone in the zip code of 24012 to do this work.

Hard to say, there's a lot of variables there, but I would say at least $20/sf to start depending on the size of the bathroom, plus materials. You've got a lot of work to do there. I hope that helps!
