The 6 foot units themselves typically cost around $50-125 each plus or minus depending on brand and if oil-filled or straight electric. Replacement, assuming the existing wiring is legal, should be about $100-150 labor and basically no other parts cost.


No for who does it - generally Heating and Air Conditioning contractors, in some areas electricians also though clearly the HVAC contractor probably has units in stock so would not as likely be having to make a run to the store to buy the units.
