Tile or vinyl inset? Will the tile be on the floor only, go halfway up the wall, or go all the way to ceiling? Will the vinyl inset include grab bars, shelves, hooks, etc?

Do you want a walk in, step up or step over threshold? What type of glass, how big and what type of sliding mechanism do you want?

Will you do the work yourself; this is an intermediate DIY that will require plumbing rework, possibly a new light (if you don't have a light already over the area), in addition to setting the floor correctly and tile work.

What kind of shower head; multiple heads, a dual head, with a hand held, or just a simple standard head?

If you are not going to try to DIY, I would recommend you contract with a design professional. For a few hours of their time, they can give you a rough budget, help you locate a contractor or bathroom installer and assit with permitting. A lisenced architect is always a safe bet to ensure the outcome is what you want/need. Good luck.
