how to find grants to start a small business

i want to buy a small building to open a kitchenette but dont have the funds how do i start in getting a grant

Thank you for thinking of us to answer your question. We, too, started out as a small business in 1995. I'd suggest looking on the Small Business Administration website for resources.


Many of the companies we rate are small businesses, so you should get plenty of feedback here, too.

Generally speaking, grants are only available for non-profit enterprises. To open a business, and to be able to get loan for developing a business, you are expected to have a substantial amount of skin in the game - in other words, about 6-12 months worth of operating funds available from your own pocket.

For information on small business loans, google that phrase, or go the the Small Business Administration website at www.sba.gov.
