how much is it to fix a hole in a flat screen tv

i throw my remote at my 60 inch mishibishi tv and it has a big hole in the corner. the tv works and shows picture perfect but the screen has a hole. how can i get this fixed and how much is it?

In addition to the other referenced similar question and reply:

Since it works fine, I would just use clear boxing tape and tape it over so nothing gets spilled in there and so dust does not get in, making sure the tape does NOT touch the actual display screen inside.

Another possibility, which might be a bit clearer, is the clear plastic self-adhesive film designed for laminating photos and such - you can get it in sheets up to 3', but also if the hole is fairly small, can buy single sheets the size of normal copy paper or the size of photos at office supply and photo supply stores and craft area of stores like WalMart, Target, Michaels, etc.

And get a soft rubber case for the remote and start wearing soft slippers when watching TV, or stop watching the news about the clowns in Washington.
