how much should a two ton.13 seer central ac unit cost me?

I want a top of the line like a Carrier, 13 seer. Also need coil replaced.

Prices vary greatly around the country and from company to company. Lowest price company is not always a good choice. Read what you should know here,in the homeowner/consumer tab;

That said, here in Florida, $3200, give or take a little, for 13 SEER. Federal minimum SEER goes to 14 or 15 ,depending on the part of the country you live in. I'd go 15 SEER minimum for reduced costs,as the "carbon tax" by the feds, will likely drive electric costs up in the next few years.
