You have to be a member - log in with your member ID (eMail) and password, then several ways to access a particular company:

1) In the Company List (green top banner bar) page select city and state (should autofill for your address of record once you have completed your member profile when you first become a member) but you can change it to search another location, then choose a category from the list shown below that on the page - then select the company from the list of providers in that category which comes up when you click a category. Note there is a button low down to expand to the full category listing - there are a couple hundred listings total between the home, pet, auto, medical, and services categories.

2) Ditto to above on log-in and city and state, but instead of clicking a category, in the orange text box at right of city/state put in company name. Keep short as possible - just key name parts and no apostrophes, like search for "Joe Flooring" if you are looking for Joe's Flooring and Kitchen Finishes, for example. Put in too many general terms like Company or Contracting or similar general terms and it brings up too many hits.

3) commonly the easiest is to log into Angies List (so it knows you are logged in and it has placed cookies to the effect in your browser), then just (outside of the Angies List website) Google search using company name, maybe city if likely to be a common name, and put the words "angies list" behind it to front-lists the Google hits to Angies List listings. Googling allows for a much more accurate search - the Angies List search engine is a very inaccurate dinosaur. Usually, unless a real common company name or franchise (in which case add city name) should come up on first page of results. For instance, search with a Google search phrase like this - Joes Flooring Charleston Angies List or Terminex Albany Angies List , as examples.

The company profile hits will have a web address like this - ... with the ... being the company name and city

You can do the same thing if looking for companies of a certain type - like googling this search phrase, for example - auto air conditioner repair Chicago Angies List - will bring up auto air conditioner repair vendors in Chicago which are listed on Angies List.

When you find the one you want just double click it to open directly to that company's profile page. When logged in as a member (either free or paid status) the reviews and ratings will then be visible to you.
