i have some old lawn mowers and yard equipment to get rid of. Is there anyone in my area that will pick them up?

Below are a couple of previous similar questions with answers FYI - for yard tools (generally excluding power mowers and tractors and such) Goodwill and Salvation Army and such will commonly take them if functional - without any gas in gas power tools like blowers. Ditto to hand tools.

Many non-profits that run or feed to used goods stores do weekly or so pickups - call for arrangement then leave out with a sign on the pile and on each significant item in the pile with the organization name or abbreviation on it on pickup day.
