Not sure what you are referring to - does not sound like you are talking building framing member structural stress and Computer Assisted Design (CAD) for a fix design, so I presume you mean a heart stress test.

In that context, CAD would normally mean Coronary Artery Disease, which could cause failure of a stress test - though the CAD would be the medical condition causing the failure, not something you can "choose" to go through or not. Perhaps you mean a coronary artery clearing opearation, where the arteries are either "routed" out to clear plaque buildup, or a stent is put in to expand the artery at blockage points ?

You need to talk to your doctor, because depending on the amount and type of blockage and patient health and age, sometimes it is treated with plaque and cholesteral reducing drugs and diet changes, sometimes with plaque routing or suctioning methods, sometimes with stenting, sometimes with arterial transplants (heart bypass operation), all depending on severity and patient situation.
