The FreedomLife webpage for heatlh coverage states they provide the coverage through a membership in the Unified Caring Association - so it appearsteh answer is effectviely - Yes.

Below are some links to scary warning and scam reports on this type of "insurance" in general, and this company in aprticular whigh might be of interest to you - note on the UCA terms and conditions page it specifically spells out this is NOT either Affordable Care Act compliant insurance nor traditional health insurance - it "pays" (not clear if this is actual payment or a service cost discount as at least one of the scam reports states) based on a fixed reimbursement/coverage schedule for specific types of care or treatment only. It also states, as I read it, that it pays as secondary insurance to any other insurance you have - so if a procedure or treatment was covered by any other insurance coverage they may not pay.

Sounds like buyer beware - and this type of "coverage" is commonly worth very little to you because of the gaps in coverage and restrictive terms, so beware.

Freedom Life Inusrance Company is a 61-year-old financially sound and highly-insurance carrier based in Fort Worth, TX. They currently have agreements to underwrite health plans from several different companies like UCA and other non-ACA based healthcare marketing companies. However, they are NOT one and the same. FLIC, again, underwrites and accepts applications for coverage and pays claims according to the plan design being sold. THey are not a scam operation. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Checking the State of TX Dept of Insurance, it is evident that FLIC is a legitimate and financially successful and sound insurance company with only three to four complaints filed against it each year.
As of Jan. 1, 2018, USHEALTH Advisors will be the exclusive marketing company of agents selling products under the Freedom Life banner primarily because of their quality health products, reliable agent system and consistent growth over the last eight years.
